Oh my goodness! I can’t even describe the awesomeness that is this pasty. It was gluten and dairy free and it was so magnificent that I bought two! She even had a gluten and dairy free chocolate cake!!! The new owner (as of almost two weeks ago, I think?) is amazing and the company and customers that were there were all so lovely! Thank you for being so accommodating!!

Alas, not the best pasties. The pasties we had, 2 vegetable ones and a bacon, cheese and leek, were soft and none too hot, and when eating in took a long time to arrive. Coffee was good though so a third star!

Absolutely loved my time here! The new owner is so great, she’s super friendly and really accommodating. The shop now does gluten free and vegan food! I had a choice from sandwiches, a pasty and cake! Somewhere not just serving jacket potato for us coeliacs! I had a gluten free pasty, my first in 6 years, it was soooo good! My partner had a panini and I must say I looked so nice! The lady said they will be introducing gluten free toasties so can’t wait for those to hit the menu! Definitely will be coming back here, probably my weekly treat I think

Me and my family absolutely hated this place. At first we see it and think it looks good so we go in for lunch and have pastys. The pastys were okay but not as good as your normal bakery. When I asked for my drink there was a oily substance that I had to wipe off with a tissue, I know that’s not a big deal but still. We go upstairs since all the tables have crumbs on and find one table by work that’s happening in the ONLY toilet and because they were doing work they made horrible drill noises that wasn’t very nice to hear during your meal. Then a waitress comes up to us and nearly gave us someone else’s order. We shan’t be coming back again.

The sign downstairs saying there are harbour views upstairs is a bit misleading, as there’s only one table near the small window, cracking views from that one I bet…

Jacket Potatoes overpriced and under-filled. Most ridiculous salad garnish I have ever seen in 35 years of catering. Not surprised the cafe was quiet. The gross profit must be around 90%. Would recommend going elsewhere. Oh yes, harbour views from on table only………

Red Velvet is delicious. Since we were the last customers, we got three large beef Cornish Pasty for free. Ate and drank lots of things and paid a fair price. Great scenery upstairs is a plus.
