Closed due to covid not the reason for the 1 star , the car park is controlled and as I needed to charge my car I get charged to text to be able park so I can charge , this would be free if the place was open ,Constantly annoying as right through covid the car park leaches carried on charging you

I haven’t been to the Hollybrook in ages. They have changed the menu since we last went. They still have some of the old classics which is nice, but lots of new things on the menu too.I must say I was very impressed. The food has certainly improved. Last time we went the chips were really salty and I complained. I was told that they came pre-seasoned and that there was nothing they could do. This time they were just right so they have clearly listened to feedback. It was beautifully presented and tasted as good as it looked.* Hunter’s chicken* Mixed grill* Belgian chocolate & Irish creammousse* Marbled chocolate & raspberrypyramidNote: The website doesn’t show any prices unfortunately, so I’ve taken a picture of the main menu. My husband said they had a separate vegetarian and vegan menu at the bar.Top tip: if you go online onto Ember Inns website and register your email address you will receive £5 off a main meal costing £20 (valid Monday to Friday for 30 days). You can unsubscribe at any time. I believe that they also do a deal when it is your birthday too.
