The staff in this pub were excellent. I enjoyed a pleasant evening meal served promptly on their application by Lydia who is a credit to the establishment. The following morning I enjoyed an al fresco breakfast outside again with excellent service. The pub is located in a quiet pedestrian precinct in Cosham and is large and spacious. Well worth a visit

Five for speed of service and great scram. Have to agree with Melissa’s verdict, on the egg served with a large mixed grill, but hard-fried works washed down with a Magners – arguably. Plenty of peripheral parking is available. A dark and very cliquey JDW which deserves to be rated higher than the current aggregate. Twenty feeds two nicely.Thank you for your hospitality.

Ordered curry for me which was great but the signature steak ordered was disappointing . Sent meal back due to undercooked chips and fried egg which which was like rubber. Fresh meal served was not much better. Probably should have stuck with the first meal. Usually great but on this occasion disappointing.
