Ambient and cozy atmosphere. Went there with girlfriend and she likes it a lot! Tables are smaller than usual so it brings people closer. Nice rock music and staff are really friendly! Drinks taste nice and pack a punch too

Nice, eery, quirky, hidden bar in Central Bath. Amazingly different cocktails and made to feel special on entry by the doorman. Great for a few cocktails before a night out. Can easily be missed as it’s downstairs. Definitely recommended!

The cocktails here are excellent! You can really taste every element and they’re not super sweet which is perfect for me – and unusual for the UK. The prices are actually very reasonable relative to the usual cost of cocktails in the UK too. The atmosphere is great and the staff are friendly and efficient.

What’s not to love about this bar!?! Great service from the second you walk through the door. It felt like we were being greeted by an old friend, who made us feel so welcome and wanted. Our waiter was so attentive, always keeping an eye on whether we needed more of their delicious cucumber water, or if our next cocktail needed ordering. The decor is brilliant, the atmosphere was spot on and we really enjoyed our time here. I agree it’s a bit more then we’d normally pay for cocktails but do you know what…the extra attention to detail makes it worth it, and if you want to go off menu…they know their cocktails!! Thank you Dark Horse! See you again, next time we are in Bath!

This has also been one of my favourite cocktail bars in Bath. My last experience was slightly more underwhelming…On previous occasions we have sat inside and loved the cocktails and experience you receive. However, the seating outside is not the same and to be paying £15+ a cocktail to sit on a slanted patio with uncomfortable chairs is not something I would do again. I do think there needs to be a different menu outside to reflect what you are receiving compared to inside.

Brilliant hidden little cocktail bar, after your eyes adjust to the intimate mood lighting you notice the quirky decor and nice touches. Fantastic and descriptive cocktail at fair prices delivered by very attentive staff. Pre booking and table for 2 hours max but that is just a perfect amount of time, highly recommend if your chasing a few cocktails.
