Chewy bacon, dirty cups, cheap bread, watery baked beans, weak coffee. Used to be a very high quality fry up years ago here, always felt each ingredient was high quality (especially the meat!) but standards have slipped. Also some lovely staff, some who just aren’t fussed. Disappointing as it’s so handy, but will just do breakfast at home when people visit. 3 stars for bakery items, flowers and the odd member of caring staff.

Stopped for a proper English breakfast. Had the Little English and a cappuccino. Friendly service. Nice atmosphere. Listening to local gossip and thoroughly enjoying the food. Highly recommend for a good Full (or Little) English!

Good food and plenty of choice. Unfortunately the seats are very hard which doesn’t encourage you to stay, backed up by the sweeping around you from 3pm making you feel very unwelcome. Shame as there’s so much potential.

Great welcome with a friendly team and a friendly atmosphere with a beautifully laid cafe. There is further seating upstairs as well as in a back courtyard. Perfect menu for a cafe, the full English I had was cooked fresh & perfectly and the tea for two had enough for 3 cups each (big plus in my books). Would definitely recommend.
