I went in as an nhs patient for hernia repair. Good communication from start to finish. The surgeons, nurses, healthcare assistants, porters and kitchen staff all look after you. I was released same day but no complaints

I was referred as an NHS patient for a spinal injection. All was fully explained about the procedure and the Doctor arranged the appointment there and then. However it was left to a very embarrassed nurse to tell me I was paying for it. Being in considerable discomfort I went ahead .The anaesthetic didn’t work and he didn’t wait to check it had. Despite me saying (loudly!)-yes I could feel everything-it was so so painful-he didn’t stop. A horrible experience! Nursing staff were lovely – thank you ladies!
