Great little cafe in Calder Holmes park serving cakes, coffee and ice cream, just by the canal and minutes from Hebden Bridge Main Street. Two separate queues for ordering with one cash only to speed things up.Was busy due to the hot weather and a busy park, but served quickly and friendly.

Park Life Cafe is a brilliant cafe… with a wide range of foodto choose from. The food is fantastic and the setting just great. The staff are friendly and the prices very reasonable.

Haven’t yet tried the Park Life Cafe though it looks pleasant enough. My main criticism is the utterly appalling state of the adjoining toilets, which we used yesterday. The toilets had no soap, no toilet roll, which meant we had to use wipes which we had with us. Unfortunately there were no bins to put rubbish in, nor any bin specifically for sanitary products. Considering how busy Hebden Bridge and the park are, especially coming into the warmer weather, the owners really need to step up on their cleaning and checking of these facilities, as they are currently a major health hazard, and do not give a favourable impression of Hebden Bridge. Whoever has responsibility for these toilets should be utterly ashamed of themselves.

The serve Northern Bloc ice cream what more needs to said. Absolutely awesome place to visit on a Sunday afternoon. Served quickly despite how busy it was and delighted to see there accept payment by card. Awesome place.

Went today, and although I really enjoyed the ice cream it was the smile of the girl who served us that made the experiance. You simply can’t teach people to exude friendliness

The coffee is great and the staff are nice. Various cakes, sandwiches and snacks available. There is a book shelf with some great reading and books about photography and modern graffiti. Tables and chairs outside to chill out on or sit inside and take a look at some modern interior ideas such as metal colanders as light fittings and reclaimed wood nailed to the wall. Good music too. Located in a wonderful park area next to the canal and a stone’s throw from the town.
