Just bought a lamb shish kebab with fries and a Pepsi. It’s my first time here at Maeme’s. Gotta say I really really enjoyed it. Fresh and tasty and reasonably priced. Clean premises and friendly staff. Will definitely come back!!!

First of all, absolutely disgusting hygiene. One of the staff sneezed onto the food without even *trying* to cover their nose. Secondly, the food is actually terrible. “Grilled” chicken was closer to boiled, white chunks.

We got the Mixed Mezze which is listed as containing Hummus, Baba Ganous, Falafel & Halloumi. This was a dismal effort! The hummus tasted a few days ago with very little flavor. There was only 2 falafel, both of which were dry and crumbly, and the Halloumi….difficult to tell due to the smallest of slithers that we were given.

Really succulent chicken, I had medium spicy coating, it’s delicious! I tried three different dips. Garlic mayo is very delicate tasting, the piri piri Mayo is delicious and not too hot and their home made sweet chilli dip is so tangy and tasty. Chips are thin and crispy perfect, nice fresh salad. This meal was 4.99, bargain as it is so fresh and a good portion, it’s the cheapest in the street for this quality. They asked if I wanted leg or breast for the 1/4 chicken too. It’s very clean in here and the staff are all very nice. Picture is before I had the other two dips. I ate them before thinking of taking another picture 😀
