Good food, plenty of choice, friendly and helpful staff, good prices. If I need a bakery and there’s a Hadfield’s nearby I will always choose them because I’ve used them at various locations for many years and have never been disappointed. A firm favourite.

Very disappointed with service, yesterday morning i went in and asked for a bacon and sausage buttie with red sauce on and when I asked for not well done bacon the lady who was serving me rolled her eyes at me as if to say for god sake. I also asked for the sandwich to be cut in half so when I received it she only cut a quarter of it and the bacon and sausage all fell into the bag so I had to fish out all the meat with red sauce all over my hands.

Unfortunately disappointing for a first visit and unlikely to return. I was looking forward to visiting as unusually for a sandwich shop it advertises a vegan “range”. On entering it seems the so-called range was in fact two items, neither of which were available despite being common, cheap and easily prepared falafel and houmous. In fact, both items are available in the co-op directly behind the shop and in at least two other supermarkets nearby.
