We ordered our first family takeaway from Chans Takeaway today and were very impressed with the taste and quality of the food, all the portions were large, generous and reasonably priced plus the meals were piping hot. What amazed me the most was that we ordered at peek time on a Wednesday evening. The shop has a five star quality and safety food rating. We’re all looking forward to ordering again very soon. The food was prepared very quickly and the staff very attentive and friendly. Top marks Chans!

By far the best take away in town. The fish and chips are always cooked fresh and taste terrific. The Chinese food is excellent with large portions and great value. The set meals are highly recommended. I just wish I could give more stars but the limit is set at just five.

Very oily and overly salty. Something tasted not quite right so got thrown in the bin after a few mouthfuls. Family have been sick and had the trots since.

Very impressed with the quality and quantity of the food. Didn’t have to wait long for a set meal. The only thing that was not quite right was the Lemon Chicken which had too much batter. Will definitely use them again. Very polite and friendly service

We tried this place after lots of recommendations on our local neighbourhood group. Unfortunately we were extremely dissapointed! None of the dishes we ordered tasted like you would expect from a Chinese and they didn’t look anything like you’d expect either. You could tell the fried items had been fried in fish/chip batter and tasted like fish. Most of it stayed on the plate as it was so unenjoyable, such a waste! Would not recommend!
